SPARC

This demo shows a smart and secure service platform to charge electric vehicles in public parking spaces.

When the electrical vehicle is connected to the charging pole, it is automatically identified via near field communication over the charging cable. The user then indicates a deadline for when the charging process should be finished. The flexibility of a large number of parked cars is exploited by smart charging algorithms to maximize the consumption of local generated wind energy.

In this demo one real car and charging pole will be combined with extra simulated cars for determining the optimal charging schedules.
