The first session discusses the impact of digital technology on media diversity. Digital technology is deeply modifying how media content is produced, distributed and consumed and the resulting media diversity. The session will analyse key issues such as the migration of media companies towards multi-platform production, and the emergence of different business models allowed by digital technology. Three papers will be presented:

Desrezka Gunti Larasati finished her LL.M. program at Kyushu University's Faculty of Law. She is a research assistant at the research institution of law and technology at the University of Indonesia, and recently has supported as assistant professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, and the Indonesian Intellectual Property Academy.
