The second session focuses on the audiovisual sector with presentations that propose ways to define and measure quality and innovation. Important issues discussed here will include how digitization can to some extent enable innovation and how public service broadcasters can provide more quality content. Two papers will be presented:
Mathilde Gansemer is researcher at the EMNS (Ecole des Médias et du Numérique de la Sorbonne), University Paris 1. She works on the economic impacts of the digital revolution on cultural industries. Her previous work experiences mainly focused on cultural policy. In 2011, she has contributed to the strategic report of the French Ministry of Culture and Communication.
