After studies of Letters (that he enclosed by one Thesis on… filmmaker André Delvaux!), Philippe Reynaert taught during two years the literature and spelling to the pupils of a big technical institute. Caught up by his temperament of film-lover, he started learning journalist's profession that he practiced then with as much seriousness as of pleasure creating the magazine "Visions" of which he was Chief Editor from 1982 to 1988. He makes his beginnings to the television in 1983 while retaking the presentation of the Midnight Film club from the RTBF. Since, his collaboration with the chains of the public service was permanent… Adman in the 90's, the Man with the White Glasses dedicates itself henceforth full-time to his passion for the 7th Art since, since February 2001, he assumes the direction of Wallimage, the Regional Fund of investment in the audiovisual created by the Walloon Region on the initiative of its Minister of the Economy. Member of the Directors Board of RTBF, RMB, the ad sale agency of the public TV, and St’Art, a Cultural Industry Investment Fund, he is also on the initiative of the creation of the European Coordination of the Regional Funds of investments in the audiovisual called Cine-Regio which he is the present President.
