Testing Service Composition Approaches in Service Ecosystems as Future Internet Scenario

Abstract

A service ecosystem is an scenario of the Future Internet where vast numbers of services and other digital entities combine to form ad-hoc solutions. In this paper we describe two service composition optimization approaches for service ecosystems. We present our test results showing the suitability and maturity of the approaches in a service ecosystem emulated using an exisiting multi-site Cloud facility. Moreover, we show the strengths and weaknesses of the two optimizers which allow us to make recommendations for their use in application domains such as financial services and transport control.
